A readable overview of the aero-naval campaigns of WW2， with many now-classic photographs。 Written for a British audience， and slightly slanted in that respect。 Another bias is in favor of carrier-based air， neglecting and almost ignoring the powerful land-based air units， most notably of Beaufighters， Mosquitos， and Ju-88s in particular。 Still， a worthwhile introduction。
